About Dr. Kirstin Oaxaca, DC

Hi there! My name is Dr. Kirstin Oaxaca, DC. I am a mother, a wife, a friend, a bodyworker, and now a Doctor of Chiropractic! I graduated with honors from Life Chiropractic College West June of 2024. I pursued this degree to better care for my existing patients and to provide chiropractic care to those in need. I am not your average chiropractor. I have always felt that bodywork and chiropractic go hand in hand, no pun intended. That being said I have always wanted to integrate the two professions into a practice that understands the true value of both. I am considered a diversified chiropractor in that I use multiple chiropractic techniques when working with patients such as drop table, SOT, the use of a spring loaded instrument for gentle adjusting, and diversified adjusting. My goal is to get your body back into a more functional you. Feel free to book a new patient exam to learn more about how chiropractic can help you!

Now let’s talk bodywork! I have been working as a certified massage practitioner & bodyworker since 2006. I received my bodywork certifications at the California Institute of the Healing Arts & Sciences, Fair Oaks Massage Institute, and Healing Arts Institute with multiple advanced trainings ranging from myofascial release to orthopedic massage. I have successfully been able to decrease myofascial pain, help frozen shoulders, decrease headaches, improve range of motion, alleviate tendonitis symptoms, and reduce symptoms stemming from sciatic or lumbar myalgia through my bodywork alone. As a newly licensed chiropractor, I plan to incorporate all my hands on knowledge into your future sessions to better aid in your adjustments so that they can hold longer and with more functionality.

Peace & Light,

Kirstin Oaxaca DC, CMP

About Dr. Taryn Davis, DC

This is Steak and I!

Welcome! My name is Dr. Taryn Davis, DC. I am originally from Atascadero, CA and moved up to West Sacramento in 2024 with my cat Steak. After getting my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Minor in Psychology from Cal Poly SLO, I felt my career path gravitating towards the healing arts. I ended up getting accepted to Life Chiropractic College West for my Doctorate in Chiropractic. Some specializations in chiropractic care I practice include but are not limited to: Diversified, Drop Table, SLI technique, Sacral-Occipital Technique, Extremity Work, and Biophysics/Postural technique.

Prior to Chiropractic school in 2017, I went to many massage therapy schools in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Big Sur! I've attained many specializations such as Esalen Massage, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Sports Massage/ Pin & Stretch, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral Therapy, Aroma Acupressure Therapy, Energywork, Cupping, and Gua Sha/Scraping. With my extensive background of massage therapy, I've merged my skills with my new introduction of chiropractic care to my practice in 2023.

I believe that the mind and body connect on a psychological and physiological level, and that individuals can attain this self-awareness and realization through nurturing touch and healing. I've helped patients who have experienced cluster headaches, TMJ issues, carpal tunnel syndrome, sprains and strains, sciatica, and other neurological or musculoskeletal issues.

When I am not working, I enjoy attending concerts, DJing, cooking, hiking, taking my cat on a walk, hot yoga, and going to hot springs.

Allow me to be a conduit to your healing journey, and I promise to use all of the tools in my toolbelt to take the best care of you!

With Sincerity,

Dr. Taryn Davis, DC, BS Kinesiology, CMT
